Prototyping process
How do we approach prototyping?
Following our UX design process static wireframes will be turned into a functioning clickable prototype which can be used for usability testing. We use prototyping tools like Figma or Sketch to build the interactive wireframes or mockup. The prototype incorporates key functionalities and navigation and simulates the user journey realistically so that usability testing is useful and effective. The prototype is provided for feedback from stakeholders and iterated before usability testing.
Why do we undertake prototyping?
Prototyping is a crucial step in ensuring that a product or interface meets user expectations and requirements. By creating tangible, interactive models, we are able to validate design concepts and functionality, uncovering potential improvements early in the design process. This method significantly reduces the risk of costly revisions later on.
When do we undertake prototyping?
Prototyping is integrated into the early stages of the design process. It provides a tangible representation of the design concept, allowing for thorough testing and validation.
